Axel and Friends
Sergeant Pinch
- Crayfish
- Head of Canal Watch; the canal's lawman
About me
Very official, very by-the-book and very fed up with Axel. He takes keeping the canal safe extremely seriously and charges to every alarm blowing his whistle, so being fooled again and again wears his patience thin. Gruff on the outside, but he's the one who sets up the golden bell so the canal can trust a call for help again.
Sergeant Pinch always says…
“Canal Watch! Make way, make way!”
“Oh, for crying out loud. Not again.”
“That is the LAST time, Axel. The very. Last. Time.”
Funny habits
- Blows his whistle before he speaks
- Folds his claws and frowns when he's been fooled
- Pulls his cap low when he's being serious
- Points a claw firmly at whoever's in trouble
