Questions grown-ups ask
How old should players be?
Story games suit children aged about 6 to 11. We set spelling and maths by age, and Brainbox mode makes everything harder for quick thinkers. Grown-ups love playing through their own story too.
What do you need from us?
A few sentences about each big moment, what everyone looks like, and any family jokes you'd like included. We never need photos of children.
How long is a game?
Up to 14 chapters. Each takes about 3 to 6 minutes, so a full play-through is an hour or two, and it's fun to replay for more stars.
Is our story kept private?
Yes. Family games only open for people you invite, and they're never listed or searchable. We can also leave out details often used as security answers, like exact dates and school names.
Which devices does it work on?
Any modern browser on a phone, tablet, laptop or TV. Progress saves to your account, so you can carry on from any device.
What happens after I pay?
You get a code straight away (and by email). It opens a short form where you tell us your story. We'll email you as soon as your game is ready to play.
