Axel and Friends
Señora Garza
- Grey heron
- The real danger: a hungry heron
About me
Silent, patient and still. She's not a villain so much as nature doing what herons do: she waits, watches and strikes fast. Her arrival is what makes the story's warning real.
Funny habits
- Her shadow slides slowly across the glowing evening water
- Stands so still that little creatures don't notice her legs
- Leaves a single long grey feather behind on the water
